Incentivized Testnet Rewards

Context

Back in November 2021, EXA Finance went live on the Algorand Testnet with an opportunity for users to get rewarded for testing out the platform.

To be eligible for the Incentivized Testnet Rewards, users had to perform a list of actions to earn up to 20,000 EXA points. The goal of this program was to reward the community for helping secure the EXA Finance application.

Here is a recap of the list of actions users had to perform:

During this phase, we received an overwhelming response from the community. Great feedback was provided to improve the platform and make the best out of it.

On the other hand, we noticed bad actors were trying to take advantage of this program by using bots, fake Twitter accounts, and applying multiple times with different email addresses. Those bad actors have been disqualified and removed from the eligible wallets.

In addition to that, has been classified as non-eligible wallets:

  • Users who did not perform any tasks
  • Users who did not submit feedback or critical bug forms (only one of the two was mandatory)
  • Bad actors (see the previous paragraph to know what a bad actor is)

A total of 1,637,550 EXA tokens have been allocated to 2,869 users.

Congratulations to all the eligible participants! 🎉
